Mystical Gardens and Mountains

I know that some of you will wonder if I went horseback riding or fly fishing on my trip to Montana. No, but I did go on a hike, enjoyed swimming in a hot springs pool, had a wonderful visit with my sisters and mother up here and enjoyed my sister's yard which she has turned into a fabulous garden with all kinds of flowers blooming, whimsical sculptures placed in among all the plants. It was very relaxing, and every morning we were visited by rabbits, all kinds of birds during the day, and every evening, deer would visit the yard. My sister who lives up here is a wonderful artist and has a gallery and studio, so that influence was everywhere. And this is where mom celebrated her 94th birthday with us. I look forward to having a long and happy life that goes that long too. So this was our base camp, if you will.

Then on top of that, there were plenty of unexpected pleasures that I discovered up here. Imagine enjoying a leisurely walk through a small town and finding an excellent metaphysical shop where I picked up a couple of hard to find tarot decks, having a delicious meal in a small cafe with a very healthy menu, and enjoying a baroque music concert in a park. Totally beyond expectations!

Yet, there were two places that my sister took us to that opened another dimension. One was a visit to Blackfoot Pathways Sculpture Park in the Wild where we experienced incredible sculptures crafted out of wood by a number of internationally known sculptors. Some sculptures you could just look at and touch while others you could actually experience by getting inside of them and seeing them from all different angles, inside out. This was on the Blackfoot Indian Reservation. And at this very moment when we were immersed in this wonderland, some of you were calling and texting me for appointments. How incredible!

Then, we visited the Ewam Garden of One Thousand Buddhas which is a Tibetan Buddhist creation located on the Flathead Indian Reservation. This is an incredible experience with a huge park laid out in the form or a giant wheel of dharma. There are statues of Buddha and Tara, the Buddhist goddess of compassion all over these grounds, with meditation pools and gardens representing the eightfold path of Buddha's teachings with his quotes carved in boulders and huge stones. In the center of the wheel there is a magnificent stupa (temple) and on the hill above the wheel, the largest tent made of prayer flags I have ever seen, which you can take a short hike up to and from there get a view of the wheel from above, along with a panoramic view of the mountains. While we were up there, a bald eagle was circling high above us, and at that very moment, my sister got a call from an artist friend who helped create this place. Simultaneously, while I was up there a few of you were texting and calling me asking for appointments when I get back. I know that there was no way you could have known where I was when you called, and there is no way that my sister's friend could have known where she was when he called. And I know that you know that old saying that there are no accidents. What a blessing and an affirmation that we are on the right path!

I am writing this to you during my last day in Montana, and this will be finding its way to your mailbox while I am beginning the drive back to Colorado. Once again, there are signs from spirit that keep illuminating my path.

You might have suspected that my vacation would be full of the unexpected because my life has always been populated with people and events that are truly marvelous and unexpected. How could it not be? I had a wonderful visit with my family and now I return to my home and office and get to experience the magnificent and loving, healing interactions with all of you.

Any time any one of you contacts me, it really helps make my day whether you want to make an appointment or just to keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. I like hearing your stories of what has been happening since the last time we met. And of course, I am always ready to help with what is next. Sometimes people come to visit and have a cup of coffee or tea or we go get something to eat or go for a walk, and I love those visits too. Let this note help make your day. I love you.
