Although squirrels are always scurrying around to gather nuts, this fellow was opportunistic enough to snag a container of nutella. Maybe he will find some crackers to go with it. He is obviously doing ok without a spoon.
This was just another one of those crazy little shots I got while out walking the dogs. Finding funny things like this in every day life keeps the buzz going. Find reasons to be happy and that is the buzz we attract. Happiness opens us up and draws people closer to us. Whether in a business or social setting, humor is the greatest ice breaker.
How so? Notice how when you can crack a joke or tell a funny story how people listen and then when they are laughing with us, we are helping to raise the vibration just as beautifully as love raises vibrations. I like stand up comedians both in person and on streaming services. I have always enjoyed authors and speakers who have a good sense of humor. Do you?
Keep your eyes and ears open to pick up on humor to lift your spirits. Be lighthearted in your conversations with people and notice how those little touches are appreciated and lubricates the flow between you.
If any of you feels like sharing any funny stories or jokes with me, please do.
I don't know if your mind works this way, but mine always remembers other jokes or funny stories once someone else tells one. So if you call and tell me one, you probably will get another one back.
Add some humor and sweetness to your life and these will lift your spirits!
This informal joke exchange will probably be like the squirrels burying their nuts and forgetting where they are. Then one day they come back dig a little and surprise themselves.
I always love hearing from you, so if you feel like sending me a note, calling or coming to see me, please do!
Have a wonderful day!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Try this at home: During this full Mead Moon, celebrate the sweetness in your life
Since medieval times, the full moon in June has been called the Mead Moon. This tradition arose because June was a popular month to get married and guests would pack them off to their month of celebrating with bottles of mead, a wine made from honey. If you are curious as to what that tastes like, most liquor stores carry a few brands made in Colorado.
This tradition is where we get the name honeymoon. Newly wed couples were expected to go off and enjoy each other's company and some sweet wine to get their marriage off to a good start.
Over time, honeymoon has been used to describe sweet peaceful periods between people.
So married or living together in any kind of partnership, people can still have a honeymoon, and when we have periods where all our relationships and businesses and other parts of our lives are all sweet and smooth flowing.
Why not take a moment today and think of all the sweet people and events in your life? I do it every day when I wake up and write in my gratitude journal and I feel that it is a factor that helps my life go well. Our spirit guides always enjoy it when we express gratitude.
Here is my suggestion. Right now as the moon is waxing until it goes full on Thursday, June 24, as you go out and gaze at the moon, taste the sweetness in your life as you gaze at her. Give some thought to the sweetest people and developments in your life right now, savor a sip of that sweetness, whether you take a drink of mead or a drink of water and think sweet thoughts. Offer a little toast to all those sweet connections and bathe in the moonlight. You can enjoy this honeymoon whether you are married or not.
