Valentine's Day has always emphasized the celebration of couples. That is a wonderful thing.
But people who are not currently part of a couple frequently feel uneasy with this due to guilt or feelings of failure from past relationships that did not work out. For these people, this day might be a reminder of what they do not have. It is important to remember that we need to learn our lessons from the ones that did not work well so that we can be mindful to not make the same mistakes over and over again.
For all of those couples who are looking for ways to enhance their relationship or give it a boost of energy, think of the ways to express it that goes beyond flowers and candy.
Think of ways you can make spiritual or psychic connections with your partner in addition to the other ways you connect.
For people who are not currently in a relationship, begin by loving yourself. Be happy to be who you are. Shift your attention to a state of mind where you trust that spirit will connect you with the person who will be the right and best match for you.
When we begin from this space, love for other people in general, the humanitarian aspect of our hearts, lets love and joy radiate out from us in this big way. This radiance signals to other people in general that we would be happy and open to receiving communications in that spirit from others.
That aura that we project is what opens the way for new people to approach us or open further to us in the case of a relationship that evolves from someone we have known for a while, who is now growing closer.
So if you are currently not in a relationship, begin by loving yourself. Treat yourself the way you want to be treated. Treat others with kindness. Be clear about what you want in a partner and reaffirm that in your thoughts every day.
Holding those thoughts will tune you up to resonate clearly and vibrate with recognition when you they appear in your life.
The picture is one I took of 2 heart shaped stones that I found while walking, in addition to 2 pennies. I take finding heart shaped stones as a sign of love from the universe that there is always love for us in this world.
And ever since I was a kid, we had this belief that finding pennies is good luck. This used to puzzle me since the smallest denomination of coin buys the least of anything. However, I find it curious that in the Chinese art of feng shui, having copper in your wealth corner draws energy to that part of your life. Perhaps it is because copper conducts electricity.
Perhaps this photo signifies that by keeping our hearts open, we draw other good things to us. So when our hearts are open, our personal relationships are going better and so are our work related relationships.
All the best to all of you!
I always love hearing from you, so if you feel like sending me a note, calling or coming to see me, please do!
Have a wonderful day!
