Writing As Magic

Fiction writing can be a spiritual experience, because we journey inward to use our imaginations to create worlds and populate them with characters and events.

Non-fiction writing can also be a transformative journey when we investigate subjects near and dear to our hearts, and the truth either confirms what we already knew or opens our eyes to other perspectives.

Reading biographies and self help books can be beneficial and uplifting, but you might also consider rewriting your own life story.

Writing our own life stories is a third way of both becoming more aware of our selves, what we have done, what we have learned, and what our karma might be about. And as long as we are alive, we still have an opportunity to rewrite what is left of our lives, perhaps changing our patterns and creating the greatest act of magic, co-creating our selves.
